What started with a passion for baseball as a young child grew into a 30+ year hobby of collecting baseball cards.
The story I share is all too common – Life happened, the sports cards got replaced with other priorities; first college, then marriage, a child of my own, and then all those other real-life responsibilities and bills. Cards were at times the last things on my radar as just finding time to meet the daily grind was hard enough.
Only later in life would I rekindle that childhood spirit and pursue sports cards as a full-time hobby.
Follow my journey collecting and investing in baseballs, basketball, football, hockey, soccer; and most recently UFC cards. It’s all about the hunt for those iconic rookie cards in impeccable shape and low pop sports cards that only a few of us are lucky enough to own.
I also dabble in non-sports mostly focused around the 1980’s Garbage Pail Kids craze. You gotta love light-hearted parody of GPK! 🙂
